| Rena Baskin attended Boston Conservatory of Music, Drama, and Dance, and trained in Directing and in Theatre Administration at Harvard/ART. Some of her stage roles include Chelsea in On Golden Pond, Desiree in A Little Night Music, Blanche in Brighton Beach Memoirs, and various roles in scenes of Shakespeare plays for high schools. She has played many local and regional theatres, including Boston Theatre Works, Gloucester Stage, Wheelock Family Theatre, The Nora Theatre, The Publick Theatre, The New London Barn, and the Portsmouth Music Hall. Rena has also performed live for various industry clients as an actor and as a Spokesperson at trade shows. She performs on camera as well as on stage, and her voice can be heard in narrations, commercials, and other voice-overs on WGBH and other radio and TV stations. She also has a background in Psychology and works currently as an actor with doctors, nurses, social workers and others to teach serious illness communication skills to health care professionals. She served on the Board of Directors SAG-AFTRA New England (25 years for American Federation of Radio and Television Artists and 25 years for Screen Actors Guild). |
